Dr. Juhi — Parent with Confidence. Live with Clarity.
Pediatrician · Mom of 2 · Coach

Parent with confidence.
Live with clarity.

You're a great mom. You know this at work, at school pickup, in every room where someone needs something done right. But at home, at 7:45 a.m. with no one wearing shoes — you lose it.

You don't need more parenting advice. You need better words, better tools, and someone who actually gets it.

Mission: Calmer Homes

This isn't working. You know it.

If any of these hit home — you're exactly where you need to be.

😤

You asked nicely. You asked again. Then you yelled — and hated yourself for it.

🌙

You're crushing it at work, but bedtime feels like a hostage negotiation.

🙄

Your teen rolls their eyes at everything you say, and you're losing the connection.

💭

You lie awake at night wondering if you're damaging your kids.

💔

You know better. So why the hell can't you do better?

You're not a bad mom. You're a tired one.
And you don't have to white-knuckle this alone.

The method behind the calm.

Not another parenting theory. A framework that answers the only two questions that matter when everything's falling apart.

CALM

Who do I want to be when it gets hard?

C

Connect First

Connection before correction. Always.

A

Acknowledge Emotions

Name the feeling. Don't fix it.

L

Lead with Calm Authority

Warm and firm. No threats, no shame.

M

Model the Skills

Pause, breathe, repair — out loud.

The 3 C Method

What do I actually do in the hard moment?

1

Connect

Before you correct, connect. Slow down.

2

Get Curious

Stop assuming. Start asking what's underneath.

3

Communicate Clearly

Fewer words. Warm and firm. Say it once.

Connect before correct. Listen, don't lecture. Respond, don't react.

Pediatrician. Mom of two teens. Still in the trenches — with better tools.

I've been a pediatrician for twenty years. I've helped thousands of families through tantrums, teen anxiety, and everything between. But the family that humbled me the most? My own.

I grew up in India and moved to the U.S. in my twenties for medical training. I had my first baby during residency — no grandparents down the street, no village, just me, my husband, a pager, and a newborn who didn't care that I'd been awake for 28 hours.

I yelled more in those years than I like to admit. And I carried the guilt everywhere.

I'm not the mom who has it all figured out. I'm the one who found tools that actually work — and I want to hand them to you.

It wasn't trying harder. It was having the right words ready before I needed them.

Learning to pause instead of react. To connect before I corrected. To repair instead of pretending it didn't happen.

Today, my kids are teenagers — a daughter and a son. Some days are wonderful. Some days I still get the eye roll. But I know what to do with it now, and I want every mom to feel that steady.

That's why I built The Calm Parent Method and The Calm Parent Collective — so busy, loving, exhausted moms can stop guessing and start parenting with confidence.
